The Sidmouth Folk Festival celebrates 65 years in 2019, recognised as a huge cultural highlight in the South West region, marked by its prestigious Blue Plaque status – awarded as part of BBC Music Day – and acknowledged as a national treasure by festival goers from across the country and wider world.
This very special week-long seaside festival, held every year in the first week of August since 1955, puts the stunning red-cliffed coastal resort of Sidmouth, East Devon firmly on the map. |
